We are looking for an experienced candidate for the position of Accounting Manager with strong knowledge of shared service center management and taxation at our client, a well-known production company. The main task for the successful candidate is to ensure the smooth operation of accounting departments and the correct application of tax regulations in the designated countries.

Náplň práce

  • Ensuring correct and timely accounting according to applicable accounting standards and tax regulations of individual Central Europe countries 
  • Management of teams in given countries
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards.
  • Coordination of accounting and tax agendas in the given countries 
  • Consolidation within the mentioned countries according to IFRS rules
  • Monitoring changes in tax legislation and their implementation into company processes.
  • Cooperation on strategic projects, including the integration of affected companies after the acquisition and the sharing of services between individual countries.
  • Implementing international tax issues (transfer pricing, profit taxation, etc.).
  • Close cooperation with auditors, tax advisors, and financial authorities in the Czech Republic and abroad
  • Management and development of a team of accountants and tax specialists
  • Cooperation with other sections of the company

Požiadavky zamestnania

  • University degree in economics, accounting, or finance.
  • In-depth knowledge of Slovak or Czech accounting standards & IFRS, and knowledge of tax regulations (at least in two countries where the company operates is an advantage.
  • Experience in leading a large team 
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting systems and analytical tools.
  • Experience with the implementation of information systems is an advantage
  • Communication skills
  • Ability to work in an international environment.
  • English language at a high level.
  • Change management, project management
  • A solid managerial personality capable of operating in an international environment
  • Experience in an international manufacturing company is a significant advantage
  • Group B driver's license
