For our client - an international supplier in the automotive industry, we are looking for a logistics manager.

Náplň práce

  • Lead and manage all plant logistics activities, including transportation, warehousing, inventory control, packaging operations, and customs processes.
  • Oversee production planning activities to ensure material availability, efficient production scheduling, and on-time customer deliveries.
  • Manage packaging operations and standards, ensuring compliance with customer, quality, and operational requirements.
  • Ensure the timely and cost-effective flow of materials and finished goods to support production and customer needs.
  • Lead, develop, and manage Logistics, Planning, Warehouse teams, including both white-collar and blue-collar employees.
  • Manage team performance, workforce planning, employee development, and succession planning.
  • Manage relationships and contracts with transportation and logistics service providers.
  • Monitor logistics, planning, and packaging KPIs, costs, and service levels, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate import/export activities and ensure compliance with customs and transportation regulations.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure stock accuracy through regular cycle counts and inventories.
  • Collaborate closely with Production, Human Resources, Quality, Customer Service, and Finance to ensure efficient supply chain operations.
  • Prepare operational reports and provide data-driven recommendations to plant management.
  • Lead production planning, and packaging projects aligned with plant objectives, customer requirements, and business targets.

Požiadavky zamestnania

    • University degree.

    • At least 5 years of experience in a similar managerial position.

    • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the automotive industry, is essential.

    • Advanced knowledge of SAP.

    • Advanced knowledge of warehouse management.

    • English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
