As a FinOps (Cloud Financial Manager), you will be responsible for optimizing cloud spending, managing budgets, and driving financial accountability within our organization's cloud environment. You will work closely with finance, operations, and technical teams to develop and implement cost management strategies, monitor cloud usage, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. MBA or relevant professional certifications (e.g., FinOps Certified Practitioner) preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in financial management, cost accounting, or procurement, preferably in a cloud computing environment.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, architectures, and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Familiarity with cloud cost management tools and platforms (e.g., CloudHealth, AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management).
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and trends.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence decision-making.
