You will be responsible for designing and implementing Domain-Driven Design (DDD) solutions & developing RESTful APIs.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python backend services, APIs, and data pipelines supporting maritime geospatial and temporal analytics.
Build production-grade microservices using FastAPI and modern asynchronous programming practices.
Develop and optimize RESTful APIs, including resource modelling, versioning, documentation, error handling, and pagination.
Design and implement Domain-Driven Design (DDD) solutions, including bounded contexts, aggregates, repositories, domain services, and event-driven architectures.
Develop and optimize graph database solutions using Neo4j, including Cypher query optimization and graph data modelling.
Design, process, and extend geospatial and temporal datasets using appropriate spatial indexing and time-series techniques.
Integrate backend services with Databricks to support data engineering and machine learning workflows.
Develop event-driven solutions using message brokers such as Kafka, MQTT, Azure Event Hubs, or similar technologies.
Design, optimize, and maintain relational databases including PostgreSQL and SQL Server, ensuring efficient schema design, indexing, migrations, and query performance.
Build and maintain Docker containers and support application deployment in Kubernetes environments.
Develop automated CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or equivalent platforms.
Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) and implement unit, integration, and automated testing using pytest and related frameworks.
Ensure high code quality through static analysis, linting, peer code reviews, documentation, and adherence to software engineering best practices.
Implement secure coding practices, authentication, authorization, and API security mechanisms including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, TLS, CORS, and secrets management.
Monitor application performance and reliability using structured logging, metrics, tracing, and runtime monitoring tools.
Participate in architectural design discussions and contribute to technical documentation, including C4 diagrams, UML, and architectural decision records.
Collaborate closely with architects, data engineers, DevOps engineers, QA specialists, UX designers, and product stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
Lead technical feature delivery from design through deployment while identifying risks, proposing solutions, mentoring team members, and communicating progress effectively.
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, estimation, reviews, and retrospectives.

Min. 3 years of experience with asynchronous programming, virtual environments, packaging, and type hints
